Activities and Tours

Fishing is available off the reef directly in front of the resort. The reef is accessible by kayak or canoe from the beach at mid to high tide. You will need to bring reef shoes and your own fishing gear and we ask that you are mindful of our coral inside the lagoon when paddling to the reef. Bring your catch to our kitchen for a fresh sashimi platter.

Village Walks

Morning and afternoon village walking tours are conducted by our staff through Safotu, our neighboring village. This is a wonderful way to gain some insight into village life in Savaii and to meet the local people. Available every day except Sundays.

Dwarfs Cave

Dwarfs cave exists in the lava tubes created by volcanic activity and are the basis of local legends in the district. Tours can be arranged at Reception.

For those who want to venture a little further off shore, Dive Savaii is a PADI certified dive centre located within 5 minutes drive from the hotel. Daily snorkelling tours and scuba diving is available as well as a range of dive courses from beginner to instructor.

Kayaks and Paddleboards

We have a collection of kayaks available for guest use. These are available free of charge and can be taken and returned to our main beach. High tide is the best time for kayaking due to clearance above our coral reef and remember to always keep your eye out for turtles which our guests spot on a regular basis.
